EVENT DESCRIPTION
An XRF Analyzer (X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer) is a non-destructive analytical instrument used to determine the elemental composition of materials quickly and accurately. It works by directing X-rays onto a sample, causing the atoms within the material to emit secondary (fluorescent) X-rays. Each element produces a unique energy signature, allowing precise identification and quantification of elements present.
XRF analyzers are widely used in materials science, metallurgy, environmental analysis, mining, cement production, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, archaeology, and quality control laboratories. They are especially valued for their ability to analyze solids, powders, and liquids with minimal sample preparation.
Modern XRF systems can be portable or benchtop, offering rapid, reliable results for both field and laboratory applications. They are ideal for applications such as metal alloy identification, elemental impurity detection, compliance testing (RoHS), and geological exploration.
