EVENT DESCRIPTION
ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma – Optical Emission Spectroscopy)
ICP-OES is a powerful analytical technique used for the simultaneous qualitative and quantitative determination of elemental composition in liquid samples. The method works by introducing a sample into a high-temperature argon plasma, where elements are excited to emit light at characteristic wavelengths. These emitted wavelengths are measured to identify and quantify elements with high accuracy.
ICP-OES is capable of analyzing trace, minor, and major elements across a wide concentration range. It is widely used in environmental analysis, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage testing, metallurgy, petrochemicals, geochemistry, and research laboratories. The technique offers excellent sensitivity, high throughput, and multi-element capability, making it ideal for routine and advanced elemental analysis.
Modern ICP-OES systems provide fast analysis, robust performance, minimal chemical interferences, and advanced software for data processing, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
